Noir-themed gambling guide releases its official theme song and announces forthcoming developments.
For Immediate Release
Road Town, Tortola – [18th March] 2010 – Today, leading Web-development firm, MediaTier Ltd., christened AceHoyle.com’s Music & Videos section with the release of an original theme song by Boston indie rockers The Honors.
The new track, titled “Ace of Face,” is a tongue-in-cheek homage to theme songs from 1980s media franchises like “Masters of the Universe” and “G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero.” A specially commissioned project, it will only be available for purchase through AceHoyle.com’s official store, Dick’s Dastardly Den.
The release coincides with the launch of AceHoyle.com’s Hoyle-ites Radio, which will allow users to select between and play the site’s musical offerings. Initially, the playlist will only include “Ace of Face.” However, additional songs will be added when AceHoyle.com’s Sonic Showdown Contest launches later this year.
Alongside the Sonic Showdown AceHoyle.com will launch a Hoyle-ites Video Diary tool that will allow users to upload music, movies and other content. The ongoing contest will invite any band registered with the site to compete for prize money and a chance to have its song appear on the official “Adventures of Ace Hoyle” soundtrack.
The Honors’ offering is already scheduled to appear on the forthcoming record, which will be for sale in Dick’s Dastardly Den. It will also figure into several other projects, including a flash-animation Web-comics upgrade, an official Facebook application and an animated series slated for 2011.
Commenting on the theme song, AceHoyle.com Executive Editor Phill Provance said, “This is the first of many steps we’re taking to make the site more than just your average gambling portal. The Honors is really such a talented group of guys, and we feel absolutely blessed to have had a chance to work with them.”
Those interested in learning more about The Honors can do so by visiting the band’s homepage or by attending one of their shows. Confirmed appearances include The Great Scott in Allston, Mass., March 12 and The Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge, Mass., April 1 and May 8.

Many people travel often for business, work or pleasure. If you fall in this group, then you can benefit from a great site we discovered called Onebag. This site is devoted to the special art of packing and traveling light, preferably with just one bag.
Right from the start you receive a warm welcome to the home of the ‘Compleat traveler‘. You may be impressed that the welcome note shows skill and precision, even if in choice of words instead of packing. For instance, the word ‘compleat’ is not a spelling mistake. In fact , it is a real word which means ‘highly proficient’, which is exactly what the site aims to do: help you become a highly proficient traveler, one bag at a time.
Doug Dyment, is the owner of the site. He has traveled a lot for various reasons. Needless to say, he quickly discovered that the less luggage he took with him, the more pleasant the trip was. That can be your experience too. Over the years he has turned traveling light into an art form, and started the web site as a way to share what he has learned with the world.
The site is quite clean and well laid out, although it does feature some drop-down menus which are less than ideal for use on a mobile browser or old computer. That said, you will most likely be studying this site before you leave home, not accessing it on the move unless you are having a serious luggage crisis! Most home computers should have a modern enough browser that the pages will display just fine.

If anyone were to ask what is there to see in Spain; then it would be very difficult to answer this question. This is because the list of places to be seen in Spain is very big and it would be very difficult to remember all of them. So, only some of the places are being introduced here:
Costa de la Luz:
Certainly this is a most attractive tourist spot. This vast coast line is less populated and is the most ideal place for those who want to spend their holiday in a most peaceful environment. In fact most of the Spanish tourists prefer this place and now it has become more and more popular among other foreign tourists also. This port was a popular trade centre in the 16th century for Americans who used to trade in precious metals like gold and silver.
What to see?
There are two cathedrals; of which one is old. Just go to the roof top of the cathedral; you will be certainly immersed in the beauty of nature. The Mother Nature appears in her full colors. There is another cathedral of the 11th century which has most a spectacular building, a challenge to the architects. The Playa de la Victoria beach is just walking distance away. Just drive for about 30 minutes on the beautiful road to reach the nearest city Jerez de la Frontera. One can enjoy the taste of beautiful wines in the bars across the road. In fact, many of these bars serve the famous ‘Sherris Sack’ imported from England. For those who are interested in spending their time in the wild, there is a National Park which is located just at the foot of the great mountains. Needless to say, the place offers the most spectacular view of the mountains.

There are many very wonderful hidden places to discover along the coast of Australia. On the Sunshine Coast there are numerous luxury hotels and fine beaches, easy to find those on the internet. But if you are searching for a more out of the way spot for your family to vacation it may be a little more challenging.
A wonderful find in the nature of this type of coastal hideaway nook is Pumicestone Channel or Pumicestone Passage. A beautiful holiday location situated between the Queensland mainland and Bribie Island, with a lot of water all around for plenty of fun. There is scuba investigation or sailing or beach exploration, all within beautiful blue, calm waters. Here you can do all of this or none of it for your enjoyment.
Even though there aren’t a lot of big happenings scheduled for this area it provides so much with all the beautiful scenes and the water available for fun, so there’s not much else neede. There is some foam that will occasionally be on the shore, this causes some skepticism, but it’s only something that happens as the seafoam catches on the beach where the sand crabs are digging.
The area provides fun for humans but it is an amazing natural habitat also, the channel is home for a number of different types of turtles and dolphins looking for a refuge. This area of the Sunshine Coast also provides homes for birds, there are approximately 350 species types that can be viewed here.
This place called both Pumicestone Passage and Pumicestone Channel is only one example of the little hideaway nooks to discover in this big region known as the Sunshine Coast. You will discover all of the wonder and excitement if you choose this for your vacation destination.
