Have you ever dreamed of traveling in England, Wales and Scotland and really getting to know the people, society and culture? Well, there is no better way to do that than to travel and stay at bed and breakfast locations throughout. It’s a way to get a true feel of it all and soak up the culture and history all at the same time, meeting fellow travelers, guides and meeting the folks whose heritage and ancestry has roamed, worked and owned the land for 10s of generations.

From big-name city hotels to designer boutiques, country-seat mansions and middle-of-nowhere spas, England boasts an almost immoderate arrange of luxury hotels.

When it comes to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved vacations and/or going to see new places we have never been before, the reality of cost and budgeting is always in the back of our minds. Planning and spending our travel dollar wisely is a priority for most families. Curbing spending and costs, while still enjoying your vacation to its fullest, is the key to guaranteed success and fiscal responsibility. Your pocketbook and family will thank you!
The reasoning behind saving money while traveling is simple:
Even if your personal budget is extremely tight, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or leaving the homestead! Also remembering that while traveling, whether on a budget or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a large vacation or travel bill!

In 2012 England will host the Olympic Games in London. If you are planning an overseas vacation, this may be the ideal time to visit England. However, if you wish to go outside of the period in which the Olympics are being held, there are still many attractions to see and things to do.
Although England occupies a relatively small land mass, it has a rich history and culture and can offer one of the most diverse vacations possible. In fact one can have a vacation centered on any one of the following – sports, history, shopping, royalty, horticulture, the theatre, architecture and many other vacation themes.
There are many attractions which are associated with England and which are known all over the world. Among the more famous ones are Big Ben, Harrods, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Stonehenge, Madam Tussaud’s Wax Museum and the Globe Theatre. There is something for everyone in an English vacation.
If you are interested in gardens and parks, England has some of the more celebrated gardens worthy of a visit. Many of these are designated heritage sites and boasts acres of beautiful gardens and a historical house or two. Among the more famous houses which 
could be included in your itinerary is Chatsworth House with over 300 years of gardening. Sissinghurst Castle Garden is another must see for garden lovers. It is known to be among the most romantic of English gardens and is the most visited. Its White Garden is world famous.
Stonehenge is probably the image best associated with England. It is located in the English county of Wiltshire and is probably the best known attraction located outside of London. It is a prehistoric stone circle which is believed to have been constructed around 3100BC. There continues to be a mystery as to why the stones were placed in the pattern in which they exist. It is widely believed that it was a center for pagan worship. It continues to be a much loved site in England.
For nature lovers, the Lake District and Windermere Lake is a must see. It is the largest natural lake in England and is 2 miles long, one mile wide and 220 feet deep. The countryside surrounding Lake Windermere offers serious hiking opportunities for nature lovers. The area is also associated with well known children’s author and artist Beatrix Potter.
It would be inconceivable to visit England without sampling the various attractions in London. If you have a taste for high end shopping, a visit to Harrods is in order. If you wish to visit the various art galleries and museums, then the British Museum houses possibly the best Egyptology and the largest African collection in the world. An additional plus is that the visit is free.
If you do visit England for your vacation, you will be pleased to know that it has one of the best train networks in the world and so you will be able to travel around the country using the train in addition to other modes of transportation. England as a travel destination can offer many attractions which can make your vacation a most memorable one.
