Most Out of Your Chicago Trip

Posted: September 15th, 2009 under Uncategorized.

Chicago, it’s always windy and subject to snow flurries right? Well, not quite. Before embarking on your trip to the “Windy City” it’s important to check out the latest weather info, because this is one city that can fool you. And nothing could be worse than packing wrong for a trip.

So, let’s debunk one myth right here. Chicago has about as much wind as any other major city in the United States. It’s kind of how we think of certain places as “rainy” when in fact they get as much or even less rain as other cities. It’s just a personal the destination has taken on.

Without a doubt, the best times to visit Chicago are: June, July and August. You’ll get to experience Chicago at its warmest. In fact, the highs are about 80 degrees F during these beautiful summer months. There tends to be more rain during these months, so check that out before you visit-typically the rain comes and goes fast.
