The best locations for a British holiday

If you are thinking of having a holiday in Britain this year then you really are spoilt for choice when it comes to where you pick. The south of England has a wonderful range of different places to stay, all offering their own unique charms, but the north of England has so much to offer too.

Number one on many people’s lists of where to stay has to be Yorkshire, as it has such a wonderful coastline. You can stay in the famous Whitby coastal town which was once home to captain James Cook, or you could chose the famous seaside resort of Scarborough. Wherever you plump for, you are sure to find many wonderful Cottages in yorkshire coast to rent for your holiday.

If you prefer you could head up to the wonderful Lake District for your holiday. One of the nicest and certainly the best known areas of the Lakes is Windermere. Here you will find the famous Lake Windermere, which is actually the largest lake in England. It is of course a wonderful location for boating activities, but almost more impressive is the number of lovely little towns in this area. You are sure to find lots of delightful accommodation in windermere too. If you search online you should come across an almighty range of windermere cottages to choose between, but the only thing you have to look out for is availability. It is obviously a hugely popular area for people to stay in, and as such you might find that a few of the prime spots get booked up very quickly during the summer months.
